A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME
Welcome to my website.
I’ve been in law enforcement since 2000 and started working with my first K9 in 2012 and was, to no surprise due to my love for dogs, immediately hooked. Learning how to train dogs quickly became a passion, and with that, I took several classes on How to train dogs. Having had a career in K9 has led me to meet and learn from several successful and amazing trainers.
Of course, one thing leads to another, and in addition to police dogs, I expanded to pet dogs - your dog.
I use a variable reward system. It starts with positive reinforcement and then moves to a variable reward system. This keeps the dog working on the anticipation of the reward. With this and years of experience, I feel confident to train any dog, any breed, any behavioral issues. For the most part, I will train your dog in basic obedience like sit, stay, come, heel. We'll do loose leash walking, as well as a command to stay in place. Each dog is different, so my approach to your dog might be slightly different. But we will be able to talk about everything when we meet.
I offer two types of training, I can either "board and train" your dog: keeping the dog with me for 4 weeks, where they will learn all there is to know to obedience and the basic commands.
But I also do house visits where I can come to your home and help with specific needs with your dog. Both are great opportunities for your dog to learn and be engaged in a new routine, to modify behaviors and/or learn new "tricks".

SERVICES AND FEES
4 Week Board and Train
In this 4 week program, I will focus all my attention on your dog and its goals. Generally, I will teach them basic obedience and commands. The package includes an electronic collar, pinch collar, and training leash. Evaluating your dog for a board and train is free.
4 Weeks for $1500
In House Training Sessions
On Average, a home visit will last about two hours. The cost greatly depends on the needs of the family, and dog and what specifically needs to be worked on.
